I recently made some dried lemons for A Pretty Fall Brunch I hosted and they turned out exactly how I wanted them. Now I’m obsessed with the possibilities. Here’s how it works: simply grab 1-2 lemons, thinly slice them to your liking, lay them out on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper and bake at 170 degrees for about 5 hours. Eh voila!
I was making these while I was also making a cake, so I even had to take them out of the oven for an hour or so while I turned it up for the cake and when I was done, I turned down the heat and put them back in. It didn’t hurt a thing. Once you take them out and they cool they are kind of like hard candies and you can move them around and use them in many ways. So here are 8 ways to use dried lemons this fall!

I Love this idea so much and want to use for a fall birthday party Iām throwing. How long did the dried lemons last? Or how far in advance can I make?
Thanks for much for the great idea! šš»

So far it’s been about 3 weeks since I made the lemons and they are still pretty much intact. They have gotten a little darker and dried out as we go, so I doubt they will last until next year but I think they can last a full season!
